Right, so it's related to creatures/monsters. I just posted on my Art!journal a drawing of a bog creature that's supposed to have thirty-seven tongues. If you were doing said picture, would you make the tongues all the same length, or kinda vary them out for the sake of space? Also, when drawing said thing from the front, would you show its top "lip" or not? The thing is supposed to be about 7"10, so it's not that big.

are all the tongues in the same general area?
you might have to stack them

and not every single one has to be in view all the time it'd just be awkward (like certain angles of our hands you only see a couple fingers at a time or w/e)

Yarh, all in the same general area. I didn't show them all at once for the sake of love and all of that. I imagine a lot of them are way back in his throat (making him all cranky). Mostly I wanted to avoid the "hrm, is that a mouth full off worms/sausages/something naughty?"

Danke, Ellen! If I ever have another art question (bet I will) I shall ask it. Until then I'll be over here like "ooooooh" at the arts.

No wait, I do have one more! The pictures you put up today, especially the last one- do you ever go back and revise, or do you just go "no, done" as a self-discipline thing?

I typically don't revise just for posterity
i'd just make a new draft if i wanted improvements
