merry christmas
Midnight mass at St. Mary's in Monroe was extremely beautiful. The choir was accompanied by their huge pipe organ, a timpani, and a trumpet. Very nice. Father Mark was great, place was full but considering the spacious nature of the building, it didn't feel cramped.
Only thing that stunk was how much pain I was in when I tried to get some sleep, and couldn't get any until well past four in the morning. I'd have taken some Naprosen, but that would've required foodage. :\ It was just one of those achy nights.
We don't do the big family Christmas stuff until later--next week, I think--so it was just me, Mom, Dad, and Katie. And the pets. :] It was nice. I got a pair of outfits, a new winter jacket, slippers, some hats, gloves, and pajamas. I was a little suprised, though; there's usually one tech/movie/game-type gift mixed in, but...Mom had hidden an iPod Nano in my stocking. I hadn't expected that. Finally--an mp3 player with a screen again! Hooray! And a Target giftcard to use at my leisure. Might get Watchmen on Blu-ray.
Christmas dinner was turkey and oh Lorddddd it was so good. Extremely tender. And Mom's cornbread stuffing is superior to any you may have had in your life. You can't argue because you just. Don't know. Asldfa. Dad's in a turkey coma right now.
The weather's just been really gross, though. Gray and rainy and gray and bleaugh. It's like February or something. I hope it's a little nicer tomorrow.
Yes, iTunes store, I will purchase things from you. It all depends on what...
