it'll be hard
Jun. 30th, 2007 10:00 amI don't know how I'm going to break this to poor Steve. The green room is going to be Katie's new room, and Katie's room shall be the study where I shall dump all my big art supplies and set up my easel and actually work on BIG CHARCOAL PIECES AGAIN YAAY.
He loves that room. He loves the fact that he can read the tv screen (our tv in the living room's settings are so fucked we can't read words on it anymore). He loves the couch, even though he mourns the older one that was in there to this day.
But HE WILL DEAL WITH IT I SAY. Because you know what this means?
This means I will not have to hear the same Pussycat Dolls song being blared against my wall day after day. THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS, and that's what matters. Katie will no longer be playing her Avril Lavigne next to MY sleeping space, thank you very much.
According to Mom, it also means we are getting an LCD TV for the living room. WHICH MEANS WE WILL BE ABLE TO READ SHIT ON THE SCREEN AGAIN, YAAAY.
I am currently grinding her down so's I can finally have a gaming console in the living room. HD God of War is my goal. I will sign any stupid paranoid blood contract she wants, so long as I can GUT MINOTAURS IN HD.
Room redecoration also means more art print buying, which is my favorite kind of shopping. Since it'll be for the living room, we will look for French themes (the room is red, therefore French?, and is decked out in French street scenes and the Eiffel Tower), and maybe a Tinker Bell for Katie's new room.
I will try to convince Mom that my poor, beloved Piet Mondrian print needs a home in the new study.
...I should do that now.
Whoa what the hell I just noticed my Dahli print is no longer on my wall lol? I better find out where it fell.
Man I was going to write about how incredibly self-hating and emo I was yesterday, but today is awesome, so SCREW THAT.
