Okay let's see...

• morning self-hateathon
• the news drama as many of you are aware.,
• eastern echo's comic controversy in two straight classes making my brain explode
• elevator at the rec building busted, going up and down 10 flights of stairs made me want to cry BUT I'M A BIG GIRL
• my group in comm is the best group tho
• took almost 15 min to get out of the parking lot because of traffic flow :|
• took longer to get to big ben's because of all the hideous construction by southfield and allen
• COMICS
• home
• cousin came over to say farewell (he's moving to north dakota to work at an oil company with my uncle)
• gradually getting sicker as i sit here THANKS DAD incubating diseases...*downs oj, dimeatapp
• pro: could get me out of tolling
• con: but i need more interviews for my article and i can't do that ill.,....unless it's via phone hm
• i can't draw
• ghhhhhhhhhhhHHHH putting this day behind me will be most excellent

I actually got some sleep


Granted I kept waking up periodically, but I still slept (had weird dreams about following people around a grocery store)


But I'm still tired and cranky and not enthralled about anything

Alright, fine. If I can't draw with my left hand for a while, I'm drawing with my right hand. I don't even care. Draw every day, NO EXCEPTIONS.


I am so very put out by this pain you have no idea.

mom thinks its carpal tunnel so now i got this hokey hand brace thingy on that makes me dance my hand across the keyboard to type
i hope it's just that because i spent like 2 hours freaking out about it near tears at work getting all worked up and useless hhh

i'm just really scared of my arthritis spreading to other joints, especially my hands. i can deal with my knees- i'm DEALING with it already and i can accept it but if this goes to my hands i honestly don't know if i can handle it


trying to draw tonight is gonna be hilarious :|

OKAY I'M GOING TO SPARE YOU ALL MY ART ANXIETIES AND TELL YOU ABOUT THE FACT THAT I GOT AMAZING STUFF FROM TY AND GRIMM IN THE MAIL TODAY. I WAS JUST. I just. FFff. It made the day.

• A beautiful blue beetle necklace (the legit bug not the derp superhero ok) that's gonna display on my shelf with my other pretties.
• An amazing con sketch from a GLC artist of Lantern Salaak. I'll let you know which dude it was when I match the face design with Sal's ever-changing design throughout the run (DOES NOBODY HAVE A SOLID CHARACTER DESIGN FOR THIS GUY????). That'll go on my wall next to my drawpretties.
• A 4-issue series from like 1993 of Americanized Captain Harlock. Properly licensed use of course--the last run before Toei said "ok fools you're done with this". It's pretty much a recap of Harlock's backhistory from the My Youth in Arcadia film tied into some post-movie plot about alien business trying to take over Earth business and Harlock and some people we don't care about being all anti-establishment. The story is actually pretty dry and MAYA IS NOW A BIRD???? but I adore it anyway. :'| These are wonderful finds. I cherish them, you guys. (TELL ME HOW MUCH I OWE YOU NOW)


Tomorrow's heat index is supposed to cap well over 100ºF. Work is going to be.........exciting. To say the least.
