• morning self-hateathon
• the news drama as many of you are aware.,
• eastern echo's comic controversy in two straight classes making my brain explode
• elevator at the rec building busted, going up and down 10 flights of stairs made me want to cry BUT I'M A BIG GIRL
• my group in comm is the best group tho
• took almost 15 min to get out of the parking lot because of traffic flow :|
• took longer to get to big ben's because of all the hideous construction by southfield and allen

• cousin came over to say farewell (he's moving to north dakota to work at an oil company with my uncle)
• gradually getting sicker as i sit here THANKS DAD incubating diseases...*downs oj, dimeatapp
• pro: could get me out of tolling
• con: but i need more interviews for my article and i can't do that ill.,....unless it's via phone hm

So uh.
Our shower is leaking from the faucet and the showerhead, and we can't really...get it to stop. So tomorrow we have to call a plumber. Weekend plumbing rates...Nnnh. I feel like I'm going to be handing back the money Mom gave me. And then some.
Positive is that Ron Podell called to set up that interview. Negative is that my phone was on vibrate and I missed that call, but somewhat-positive is that he said to call him back. So I will first thing Monday morning. I hope I hope I hope I hope I need a job for winter.
I'm starting to feel a little anxious again, but I'm going to try to keep myself under control. Problems don't get solved in a panic.

Jun. 21st, 2010 07:45 pmI had a very embarrassing moment when I saw footage from the upcoming Green Hornet movie...To be honest, I'm only excited for it for my father. I want it to be one of our bonding movies. It's his childhood (he and my Uncle Greg used to play Green Hornet in the house).
But I forgot to tape it and Dad's gone to the hospital because they think my grandmother had a stroke.
Rollercoasters every day, y'all.

I know I should say yes to injections. Hell, I should say yes and have water drained, too. My left knee is so puffy and the water shifts when I walk sometimes and makes me stumble. I haven't had an injection in well over a year, and I know how helpful it is, even if it's just a temporary fix. It'll let me bend my knees and walk pain-free.
But I can't get over the feeling of that needle going through muscle and into my bones. It's the absolute worst feeling I've ever had in my life, and just thinking about it makes my stomach drop. I can feel it all over. It felt like my joint was being pulled apart. It hurt so bad. I can't make myself think long-term when I see that stupid needle and that stupid freezing solution and am laying on my back and feel my skin go numb when he freezes it and ghisjfdklmghsidoGKL:SDhfijokldsmgjdhsgijodsnklmgfdsghudisojklm;alhiuadisogfjd;klmgnjsdihaugfodjsk
