I know I should say yes to injections. Hell, I should say yes and have water drained, too. My left knee is so puffy and the water shifts when I walk sometimes and makes me stumble. I haven't had an injection in well over a year, and I know how helpful it is, even if it's just a temporary fix. It'll let me bend my knees and walk pain-free.

But I can't get over the feeling of that needle going through muscle and into my bones. It's the absolute worst feeling I've ever had in my life, and just thinking about it makes my stomach drop. I can feel it all over. It felt like my joint was being pulled apart. It hurt so bad. I can't make myself think long-term when I see that stupid needle and that stupid freezing solution and am laying on my back and feel my skin go numb when he freezes it and ghisjfdklmghsidoGKL:SDhfijokldsmgjdhsgijodsnklmgfdsghudisojklm;alhiuadisogfjd;klmgnjsdihaugfodjsk

• Waved people into the park with green fingers today.

• Finished off the last two pages of my 6x8" sketchbook--nothing substantial, just some Slo-bos and things

• An hour and a half early out of work. Again. These break shifts are really a waste of gas.

• Yesterday: no swelling in my hands, that's a good thing. No logical treatment options for the knees aside from the Naprosen and occaisional injections (not unless I want surgery). The blunt diagnosis: You'll just have to deal with it. I can deal.

• Waved the injection off because uhhh there was an audience. Some med student from Eastern.

• Learned that maybe some of that stomach discomfort was the medication's fault. I think knowing that may help my anxiety.

• Space Pirate Captain Harlock on Crunchyroll ohhh my God I will never get over this show and its counterparts no not ever. None of the new stuff released in Japanaland recently is this compelling, and this shit is 41 years old.

• I bought a frozen coke today. I realize now that I have never utterly completed one of these. There's always nasty, tasteless ice gunk left over. Has anyone ever drained an icee drink? I refuse to believe.

• SOMETHING WAS IN THE BACK OF MY MIND BUT IT'S GONE JUST NOW FFF WHAT WAS IT

• One of my bosses wants me working a Willow booth on the 4th. Said I'd be the money-sorter. Sweet. So long as we're Team Pirate, I said. It's alwas Pirates vs Ninjas on the day of the fireworks. Winners are the ones with the biggest profits. It's gonna be us (read: pirates loot).

• OH YEAH I REMEMBER NOW: I cooked this morning. Eggs. Scrambled. Seasoned well. You don't understand--I can burn cold cereal. This is an accomplishment.

• Fourthy is the shit I've watched/seen within the last 24 hours. Like hearing some of my faboo KCers are getting in the comic scene. *steeples fingers; nods approval* : ) Bitches better read some Blue Beetle s'all I'm sayin'. So.

Le Chevalier D'eon - Nick bought this and brought it over last night. We watched six episodes, and I still can't get over how D'eon resembles Relena Peacecraft. Poor guy. But it's really good. 18th century French spy-knights plus zombies oozing mercury and a creeper who does like psuedo-alchemic shit. And poor D'eon has to put on a dress to channel his sister's soul. Hm. *watches more.*

Kaiba - fFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT, THANKS, AZIL. I can't stop watching. It is squeezing my heart like a dog toy. Why so pretty, Kaiba. WHY SO FUCKING TRAGIC AND CUTE AT THE SAME TIME, KAIBA. Goddd. I could watch this forever.

Oh my God I just love it when the water in my knee moves under my joint and makes me hobble around like an old person. Agh agh. It should not do that anymore; I don't like getting that knee injected. It hurts and I say mean words to the nice Mexican doctor and the ceiling. :(

• Om Shanti Om is the best movie ever don't even argue okay. I have not laughed so hard in a long time. And I'm not even done watching it yet. I can't even...The shirts. The shirts. And the catchy music. :'( *smashes songs on iPod*

• I watched the first five eposides of Wolverine and the X-Men, which gets its premiere in America on Friday I believe. It's rather good, and I want more cartoons with good writing again please. And Jean's nowhere in sight thank the Lord. Disembodied Xavier head is disembodied and eerily Zordon-esque and that's funny. Ororo's hair is huge. Gambit might be tolerable again. Domino is hot. Annnnnd I can't watch episode 6 anywhere because it keeps getting ripped down. Of course. Because the one circling around Nightcrawler and pirates is too good for me to see early.

• It has come to my attention that I ruin live television. Live events that occur when I'm not watching are incredible and I get to hear about it and sigh. Live events that I do get to see are at least 60% suck. I'm looking at you, Neighborhood Ball. I can forgive you for Mariah Carey because you had Sting, but no amount of doofy, awkward Obamadance can forgive Faith Hill. *shakes finger at*

• I NEED A FREAKIN' JOB.

• Lol getting charged by a doctor for a procedure I never had done. Lol for them billing me without putting a contact number to call up. Lol I hate bills I can never have a simple bill. *waits for credit card bill to mail in and make me cry*

• Oh neat a presentation on mad cow disease. Maybe I should pay attention. I can't retain anything in this class lol.
