So, I watched Awakenings with my Dad a half hour ago. Dayum. That's one of those movies that has you re-evaluate yourself. Life's a bowl of cherries by comparison. XD Seriously. Go watch that film, it is amazing. Sad but not sad at the same time, I think. I don't know. It has a similar vibe of Cuckoo's Nest, except not as angry. And instead of Nicholson, it's DeNiro. So it's good.
It's about this doctor who gives this catatonic patien this new drug called L-Dopa back in the 60's--it really happened-- and the patient "wakes" up. Tha's all I'll tell you--go rent it. You will love it.
But yeah. After the day is done and you're pissin' and moanin' and woe-is-me'in', it's good to know you can still like. Walk. On your own. And brush your teeth and go to the bathroom by yourself. And can read a book. And talk.
So maybe I'll do my argumentative paper on drug experimentation now. That's a good subject. I just gotta find three disciplines. Medical, maybe legal, and..hm. Historical. That sounds good. Sweet, maybe I can get this bitch done soon. After comic pages. Must finish comic pages.
