I had a wonderful day yesterday. THANK YOU ALL for all the happy birthdays and such and such--I still gotta go through 'em all and thank you each-! Nick paid for my comics and oops, I picked up Deadpool #8 on accident. Stupid variant cover don't you know I don't look at the numbers. But I got GLC #8 and #9 and Kick-Ass #6 finally came out so I grabbed that one so fast.

Green Lantern Corps #8: R'amey is so cool-looking I can't even get over this. And those stealth suits are hot what is this. And what the hell is the rating on this title I am seeing heads explode, organs dribbling on the ground, and bodies smashed together like Pla-Doh. And holy shit Guy. Not a good place for blood to be oozing out of. Bleeding eyes bleeding eyes. Aw shit R'amey.

Green Lantern Corps #9: I had guessed that R'amey was going to be an expendible character considering the last issue, but this was pretty awesome. Uber-butterfly-mode is go, and yes, Guy appreciates the naked. Violence is had, and somehow this thing's on earth now?? I don't even know. I'll reread it. Good ol' Guy stickin' to his morals (he has morals). I enjoyed this arc, but I'll miss butterfly girl. :( I hope she shows up sometime later.

Kick-Ass #6: Finally. These long waits kind of make the whole reading experience unenjoyable, really. But I mean, it's still really entertaining, it's just frustrating having these epically long breaks. Hiatuses must be a running thing for writers whose last names start with 'Mill'. I don't even know. But more gratuitous violence, and 10-year old girls snapping grown men's shin bones right out of the leg. Yeesh. Creepy-yet-eerily-adoreable daddy-daughter relationship is exposed, and Dave is once again spending the end of an issue totally and completely fucked for the next one. Good job, Red Mist.

The remainder of the day was enjoying dinner at Applebee's (Katie got me a $50 gift card there! I can't even) and then going home and watching the Slayers TRY dvds Nick got me. We tore through two discs. Our commentaries always make things fun to watch, even if it's a show I've seen dozens of times. So I can definitely say I had a good birthday. All that kind of stinks is that my parents got me this lovely 250G external, and it doesn't work on my OS. :( Oh, well.

And today?
Today I got unicorns in the mail. I opened the first one and pulled it out and went "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Dre" and then opened the box and pulled out the huge unicorn toy and said it again. Did you seriously buy me two unicorns? Why are you amazing.

They are named as such: the little one is Jason II and the big one is Jason III. All of my unicorns shall be named Jason from here on out.

Another good thing about today? I finished my AE final! It's under the required time, though. :\ I am going to argue this, though, because there's really no way I could drag that thing on for three whole minutes without it becoming ridiculously dull and repetitive, and he wants quality. So. There. Sigh.

So with that down, all I have to worry about is biology and I'm done. With school. I'll be graduated. Intense.

Time to go watch Bolt.
