he's like our own little alien scooby-doo
Jul. 30th, 2010 04:10 pmOkay, guys. Can we talk about Green Lantern #56? I'm going to talk about Green Lantern #56. ( Don't think I won't talk about Green Lantern #56, because I'm gonna! Right here! Green Lantern #56. )
In other news, I picked up a few old 90's comics from the bargain bin at Ben's. Superman, Adventures of Superman, and Superman the Man of Steel. WHY DID HE HAVE THREE TITLES RUNNING SIMULTANEOUSLY?? Idk. But it was this "Panic in the Sky" arc that looked alright considering all the people on the cover of the second issue. TOO BAD I DIDN'T GET THE REST I was kind of interested. Guy and Captain Marvel. :') And Deathstroke bawwing about his son and then teaming up with good guys I'M SURE IT MAKES SENSE SOMEHOW.
The best part of it, though, was that as Metropolis buildings were being blown to bits, Jimmy Olsen is running around trying to get back to his mom's, bumps into some guy I don't know, and they eat donuts. As hell is raining down from above.
I love it.
