I used to be able to carry on a post with complete sentences, proper grammar, and coherent topics. What has happened to me.

This journal has devolved into fandom dribble, whining, and incoherency, so here's a rare update that makes sense. Truly!

Since school has started, I've seen Nick less and less, which may or may not account for my on and off sullen moods. But we still go out and buy useless crap, comics, and watch lots of anime. Five episodes of Gurren Lagann left. And then in October, when the new Toward the Terra collection comes out...!

We saw Burn After Reading, which was quite an entertaining flick. Had a lot of laughs. We're going to see Igor tomorrow (we keep pronouncing it "eye-gore", thanks, Mel Brooks).

We also went to the Renaissance Festival, and he was so close to buying a kilt it's unbelievable. Too bad they were overpriced. I bought a little gypsy waist..sash..thingy..with the coins...yeah. I'm gonna make it work.

I'm only taking four classes this semester, since I had high hopes of working a lot. But park season is dwindling, and I've only managed to score Saturdays and occaisional weekdays. It'll make paying for the car, paying my mom back, and everything else a hella lotta fun, I'll tell you. I had hopes that I could somehow split the cost of getting a new laptop with my folks as my singlular Christmas gift, but I'm not so sure. Since now I need to shell out $400 for a manual-operating camera for Photography class...

English 102 is frustrating. The teacher just has that...'smarter than you and this is why you are dumb' kinda air without really meaning it? She's just hard to warm up to. I don't like being condescended. Anyway, she has everyone doing research on slavery, reading books on slavery, watching slavery documentaries...You can guess what my paper subjects are gonna be, can't you. We are slaves to the slavery topic!

After Effects is like totally awesome okay. Some of you may remember multiple posts last spring with bigfont and screaming and raging about Premiere? This is like the opposite. I love After Effects. I'll enjoy it, I think, until suddenly the projects get lame. Who knows?

Portfolio is a "I keep forgetting I'm in this class" class, but that should go by fairly easily. I feel like a jerk in there sometimes, though. I dunno, my stuff ain't that good either, so I can keep it down.

Oh, also, Daddy finally released his album! And he's already gotta reorder more, since he's running out. I'm glad for him. (:

Unfortunately, Nick's dad isn't having as much good luck. He had a biopsy last week, and the results will come in tomorrow. The doctors think it might be prostate cancer. Hopefully they will have caught it early...

So that's about that. Friday will probably involve comic books, since Deadpool and Teen Titans come out this Wednesday. I did get one of the Batman R.I.P. issues yesterday, but I still have no idea what's going on with that.

And if I hear that Subway five dollar footlong jingle one more time I'm liable to go mad(der).
