Reading reviews of All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder is both entertaining and earth-shatteringly depressing. Because it's a top-selling title. And sucks so incredibly hard. People better just be buying it for the lulz, because there is nothing redeeming about it beyond it's ridiculousness. Hhh.

Anyway, magical!Nick took me to the comic store. Picked up some stuff.

Nextwave #1: Snappy dialogue. Wasn't very interested or focused to read it from the get-go, but I think it's got some great stuff going for it. Stuff being Elsa's hair and Aaron's whole existence. Knowing more about these characters would probably make this more entertaining and exciting, but I like it. I like giant monsters wearing pants. I like Aaron Stack. And I like the art. So I like it.

Teen Titans #36-37:

Oh the Doom Patrol. Still nothing to care about. Still like Negative Man. Still hate Cassie. Still hate the art. Why do I keep buying this backwards...

Also is Mallah the gorilla gay for the brain in the jar? Why am I asking you guys?

Young Justice #48-49: Purchased solely for the sake of being able to admire Slo-bo away from my computer. I am depressed by how much I love him and how very non-existant he is now and always will be. I'm amazed by how much I really like Cassie in this title. Then you know, she goes to Teen Titans and becomes a giant, raging, PMS machine. Same goes for Connor, except instead of PMS, it's more like...annoying guy who's dead so lol.
Also really lovin' how all of the Y!J are only a dollar at the store.

Captain Britain and MI13 #7: Because Jams is magical and had me read these online. I had to get this one in print because...because it has a pegasus. I actually enjoy this. Will get the others. Oh, Blade's in it, too. But mostly? Black Knight and his pegasus. Tee.



There are no words to describe how much I will die inside when I finally get a hold of Blue Beetle #36 in February lol. So sad. Oh well. Oh, woops. I shoulda finished those three pages of my research paper tonight.
