This is a lot of tl;dr about stories and characters okay. But there are pictures. You can make fun of my bad ideas and character breakdowns!!

Tyrannical Alien Ellisha
A rather tiny soldier and a talking baseball bat land on Elle one day on her way to school and drag her into an interdimensional scavenger hunt for pieces of a warrior of immense power and horrible fashion sense. They are competing against the Elitist, who wants to snuff out said warrior for good and do his Conquer the World thing on a massive, multi-universe scale.
From left to right...
Ellie: A young lady who got sick and tired of mundane jobs (and getting fired from them) and decided to live like her comic book heroes do--except she charges. Because a girl's gotta eat. Her working name is Yshfed--she says it was her great-great-great-great-great grandfather's battlecry in some medieval battle (TRUTH: it was just the noise he made when he choked on a chicken bone and died). She's a brilliant and agile hand-to-hand combattant, to her credit.
Ellen: The first time Ellen is seen in-comic she is a confused-looking statue. The rest of the time she is a confused-looking-but-living-and-breathing girl who looks older than she thinks. She is hopelessly naiive and optimistic, but easily frightened and oftentimes clumsy. She is very sensitive to the supernatural, and uses a power that seems to mimic karma in a more active sense: hit her, you get hit back twofold.
Ellis: Just a guy trying to make ends meet with his multiple jobs, really. His parents sent him overseas to make money, and he's working to try to pay their way over. His secret passion is song and dance, which only becomes more apparent when he starts working a jazz bar and meets the girl he falls hopelessly for. For some reason or another, no matter how rushed or late he is, he's always on time, and tends to disappear in a hurry.
Ellure: Definitely not a kid. She's a well-travelled woman who used to work on a passenger train before losing her job and getting abandoned in a dusty, unsavory town. She did what she needed to do to pay rent, but never let anyone push her around. In fact, ever since she totalled a steam engine bare-handed, nobody really wants to. She's searching for someone who stole something important from her.
Ellian: He's never set foot outside his family's massive mansion before, and all the scary and ridiculous stories the servants told him pretty much ensured he never would, had he been left to his own devices. He's an everything-ophobe with a weird candlemaking hobby, but no matter how many times the guy's accidentally tripped down the grand staircase or whatever bumbling he's done, he's never gotten a scratch.
Mike: He gets a lot of flack for his face. A lot. There's no record of his real parents, so nobody's really sure if he's the only one with a nose like that or not. In any case, Mike's a pretty friendly guy with a class clown streak. He's been friends with Elle since gradeschool, and lives in an apartment a floor above her. Strange coincidences go down when he's around.
Elle: Would very much like to be left alone to lead a normal, predictable life. She has no aspiritions to do anything amazing, nor any desire to stand out and be noticed. This kind of character always gets shat on with wild plots, though. She lives with her uncle and won't like you if you ask why that is.
Lancastor and Barney: Lan being the shorty and Barney being the...bat. Lan is a soldier and survivor of a culture attacked by the Elitist. He volunteers to help the cause and find the missing pieces of Ellisha. Barney is the lead scientist's nephew who interrupted a rather delicate experiment and is now...that. But he can feel the presence of special powers, so he's not a complete failure.

Elimay
Cass Wilkowitz started having very detailed dreams about a weird, kind of cheap fantasy-novel-esque world full of people with tails and ears. And he kept having those dreams for eleven years, following the life of a peasant boy living in a modest little town. A moment passes, and Cass suddenly finds himself there, dragged into all the events that follow regarding that boy. It gets complicated.
From left to right...
Claude: He watched his father, the king, get killed, and was sent on the run to avoid execution during a massive rebellion. Since then, he's had a lot of time to get angry and bitter. He ends up fighting on the side opposite his surviving brother, blaming him for everything that had gone wrong. He inherited dark magic skill through his lineage, which manifests itself as lightning.
Tiizu: A daughter of gypsies who was raised to perform for money. She gets caught up in a skirmish and saves Claude's life, afterward deciding to join his cause and help fight off the other side. She looks at it all with a somber tone, not really sure which is right, but not doubtful enough to sit back and do nothing.
Tombar: He opened the gates and let the rebels into the castle that night the king was killed. He, too, ran away and became a rogue, taken in by a group of ambitious young people out to change the country. He gets caught up in the pandemonia surrounding Chiinah, and becomes a ruthless servent for the fanatical sect of the local faith that funds the revolutionaries.
The Good One and the Bad One: Two people that make many appearances in Chiinah's visions. They also frequently visit and talk with Cass, but nobody else seems to see or hear them but him.
Cass: A student still trying to figure out this whole college thing out. He gets sucked into the world he'd been dreaming about for years, finding himself having to protect Chiinah from all the outside forces trying to reach him. He's not sure why.
Rivven: A village girl who acts as Chiinah's surrogate mother, taking care of everything he needs. Once her grandmother dies, she takes over all the needs of the house as well, and already looks much older than she really is.
Chiinah: He was found at a riverbed near the remains of his ruined village and taken in by Rivven's grandmother. He is doted on by virtually everyone in the village, so much that they all pitched in and paid for him when the government had their campaign to collect orphaned children and have them moved. When he turned eleven, he began having visions of violence and murder, developing mysterious and painful wounds hours prior to the events even happening. The wounds vanish days later, as if nothing had happened. The process repeats. Needless to say, people freak out, things start happening, and strange people start talking to him in his dreams.

Anduist Road
Anduist Viyle receives a premonition from the earth god about a deadly evil that threatens to manifest and destroy everything. With little to go on, he starts the effort to reforge old national ties and snuff out the biggest threats on the continent, hoping one of them would be the right one. Adventures ensue.
From left to right...
Shala: Viyle's stern bodyguard, hired to follow him until he returns her to her village in the forest. She is a powerful hand-to-hand fighter and possesses keen tracking skills. There's not a whole lot that'll get her to talk, though, and she tends to intimidate everyone except Viyle.
Viyle: The six-hundred and eighty-six year old priest the earth god, the one who delivers the deity's wishes to the mortal world. He is generally very calm and methodical, but there's an impatience underneath it all as time draws to an end. He uses his influence and neutrality to get his group in and out of a lot of trouble--and into it as well. There's something to be said about an old elf who can reshape a mountain if he wanted to, too.
Chemin: His father was the king of the northern elves, and his mother was a physical manifestation of the northwest wind. Needless to say, he's not average. He's quiet and has a tendency to stare. A lot. His social skills are severely underdeveloped, and it's a shame that he's supposed to be the one to reunite the allied national army and lead it against evil forces, because nobody really believes he can. Not even him. But he's the only one the holy sword responds to. Damn technicalities.
Iore: A fugitive of his nation and a bundle of mystery. He claims he is twenty-three, but looks to be about twelve. He also claimed he hadn't practice the magic arts for over a decade, but seems to be able to tap into some serious power when neccessary. He has yet to realize that his encounter with a strange voice in a box has repercussions not only for him, but everyone else. Viyle urges him to tag along--he had seen him in his vision in a very peculiar state.
Nikolaren: A shy, bookwormish priestess touched by the elemental gods. She was lucky enough to avoid death like the rest of her immediate family, and was taken in by her aunt and virtually shut in her room to study. Needless to say, she has no street smarts, and finds the outside world both fascinating and utterly terrifying. She trusts Viyle, though, as he was someone she saw frequently enough to bond with. She's still not sure what she's doing on this mission, though.
Ramina: Her unnaturally silver hair and eyes always got her odd looks from the rest of her tribe family, but she was raised fairly normal, wandering the desert with them. She can hear the voices in the wind, something Chemin thought only he could do. She manages to get into the group by 'escorting' a famous lance that only her tribe is allowed to touch.

Soul King
Monster hunter Martin Darkov has five months to rescue his sister from the parasitic monster controlling her before his family's elders will go and exterminate her. Knowing how very fail his fighting skills are, he decides to start tracking down a relic that is said to give the wearer power over every sentient being--in this world and the world where monsters and spirits are from.
From left to right, top to bottom...
Alexander Darkov: Regina's hunting partner. He's one of the few of the new generation who actually enjoys his job--same as her, and they've been nicknamed the Laughing Darkovs. He has a bit of an ego, but he doesn't let it get in the way of his job. His spirit aide is a mongoose, and his weapon of choice is a set of blades linked by a chain.
Martin Darkov: The only member of the Darkov clan who can't call on a spirit aide, on account of the fact that every time he tries, he opens a door to the monster realm. He's not a brillaint fighter, his tracking skills are still sloppy, and his weapon is far too big for him to handle normally. But that's not stopping him from trying to save his sister. He blames himself for her situation, and for the accidental death of their father on his first hunt. His weapon is a massive lance (with handlebars!).
Regina Darkov: Martin's big sister and remaining immediate family. She loves her job--something rare in Darkov women lately. She is like two completely different people: normally, she's a shy, polite, rather self-conscious person. On the job, though, she is fierce and unwavering. An unfortunate accident results in her becoming the host of an ambitious parasite called the Nightcap, that utilizes her monster hunting and tracking skills to its own advantage. Her spirit aide is a flying snake, and her weapons are throwing knives.
Ivan Lumas: His mother is a Darkov, and his skills were strong enough to allow him to join the hunting clan rather than the defensive Lumas clan. Nothing makes this guy laugh except for beating his relatives' marks in the hunt. He's rather competative and vain, but since he's not much of a talker, nobody really complains about it like they do about Alex. His spirit aide is a stag, and his weapon is a bow.
Danielle Darkov: She prefers being called Danny. If she weren't forced into the family business, she'd be on her way to try and become a dancer on stage. That's where her real passion is. She's lighthearted, bubbly, and maybe a little slow as far as wit is concerned. But she's got good instincts, and has great form in a fight. Her spirit aide is a double of herself, and her weapon is a slim sword.
Vincent Darkov: He prefers being called Vinny. He's Danny's older brother, and if he weren't in the business, he'd be in a band. He plays guitar, piano, violin, and mandolin, the last of which is his favorite. He's pretty passive and runs on a really long fuse, but dissing his music is a sure fire way to get him going. He's focused his training more on the art of tracking monsters rather than fighting--he hates getting his hands dirty. His spirit aide is a ram, and his weapon is a club. He holds the record for most goliath monster bones broken.
Okay that's all good job people go have a nap.
