He definitely meant that all the main characters have to have perfect figures/features, or at least idealized if not realistic lol. An illustrator that works for marvel laughed when he asked what Quesada's critique for my work was and he started cracking up. He was like 'that's Marvel for you. Put different hair and costumes on them otherwise you can't tell the difference.'

Ross is a magical exception.
