noellenoJazz Fest last night was fantastical in many ways. The best part of it was this Frank Zappa cover band called the Ed Palermo Big Band. The conductor/lead guy was an absolute doofus with an amazing shirt, and the whole set was really dynamic and y'kinda couldn't NOT at least bob your head a little to it. They had a great guest singer, Napoleon Murphy Brock, who was super awesome. We danced like idiots. We being Keyra, Britt, and myself. Quilla and Steve were just laughing at us.
We also got some ridiculous photos. Keyra wrapped some of my hair over hers and she looks like she has a bad newscaster combover. If I get a hold of those photos, oh man...
But like. Hours before then Keyra, Britt, and Steve came up and we chilled in our room for three hours or so, just swapping dumb stories, laughing at each other, yadda yadda. I'm so glad that everyone got along; now we're all just one big net of people! Keyra and Britt seemed to get along real well, too.
Then Keyra and Quilla went wandering to find some Karate club guy and...then I got a text that said only one terrifying thing.
"Raptor"
You have no idea what that means to me. But five minutes later, Keyra came smashing into the room and fell onto the floor. She abandonded Quilla. XD But yeah. Raptormike. FORTUNATELY, it did not slip as to what floor we're on yet. So we're safe. For now. He was at the cafeteria when we went down there, too. But he sat away from us, cause our table was full, yaaaay. It's not like I hate the kid, it's just that he is one of the most annoying creatures one could ever be faced with. He's one of those "can't take a hint" guys. And only tolerable in itty bitty doses. Unless you like hearing about Franz Ferdinand for an hour.
So yeah. Stayed up too late watching the Producers, got up at 7 today and got to Psych lecture. 400 people. But the lecturer, Mr. Dickson or whatever, seems to really enjoy the subject, so that'll ease the pain. But the best thing is that on the syllabus, with all the due dates and alla that, NO MENTION OF REQUIRED PAPERS. :D It's gonna be lab work and research group stuff mostly I think. This pleases me greatly.
JEEZ it's just that lecture lets out at 9:25, and then I have to wait till 3 for drawing. That SHOULD be study time but it's gonna be kaki and video game time. Oh well. XD Tomorrow all I have is German, and that's pretty awesome and a half, y'know. :D
