LET ME TELL YOU HOW THIS WENT DOWN.

Four nights ago, Mom got violently ill. Vomitting all over the place, and just being gross and unhappy. Figured it was a reaction to this allergy medicine her doctor gave her for a mysterious rash. Well no. YOU KNOW WHAT IT WAS? Flu.

Flu. IN MY HOUSE. IN WINTER?

I know. I was shocked, too.

She got better, though.

Then, two nights ago, Katie woke up sick and was doing the same little dance Mom had done previously. So she stayed home yesterday and lazed about while I cleaned house (but refused to mop; the bucket is on vomit duty).

SO LAST NIGHT. Around 2am, I finish with whatever it was I was doing that I forget, and I get up to move and...oh God. I think I'm going to hurl. I tell Mom, who is somehow awake which is odd. She offers me a suppository. I refuse, on moral grounds. She says it isn't her fault. I say YEAH RIGHT PLAUGE-BEARER.

But you know what I did? I layed down, and I said, "NO. I AM NOT GOING TO GET SICK THE NIGHT BEFORE MY FIRST CALL INTO WORK IN A MONTH."

And you know what happened? I WON. I am not sick with flu, and I am going to work in five minutes.

Also, got a Valentine from baby Makayla, and decided to draw her something back.

I hate Ariel, but she's a baby, so.

That got me thinking, I oughta make a little coloring book for her and Sarah Jean. I started with Princesses, then heroines in general. I think it'll be formatted to Heroine-Hero, Villain-Sidekick. I'll get it bound at Kinko's.

But I'm going to redo the ones I've done. Perhaps in Illustrator for convenience.
