Jul. 9th, 2007 10:14 amHmm.
Mysterious random and repetitive clicking seems to have landed me a fully registered-and-paid-for class schedule. I think.
I mean, there's a printable receipt saying my loan paid it all. That must mean yes?
But the server is so very, very dead and chugging along. I will probably have to wait and call and wait more. I've already called twice, those poor bastards in Enrollment office. They are probably losing years off their life.
As it stands (supposedly), I am in for
Storyboarding (YESSS)
Flash
Web Graphics (because they don't just LET you start building html/java. No, you must learn that the internet exists and pay $300 to do so.)
English 101 (unless I can score a test out of it and jump to 2.)
Survey of American Government (because I have to)
I managed to cut it down to Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can run three days a week, which takes my gas tank to about and around half. Gas as it is, it'll only be about $16 a week to fill up. I can work with that.
So Web Graphics is probably just going to be another version of Design Tech, except instead of the Adobe software, it'll probably be...the internet? And Dreamweaver? Who knows. I just want to take some web design classes while I have openings in my schedule.
And it keeps me from avoiding the inevitable algebra class.
Mehall is teaching Storyboarding. He was my Photoshop instructor. And he is very...I don't know. He knows quality, and he demands it. I like the challenge. Here's hoping he remembers me, as I am as hard to get rid of as a cockroach.
Thursday I shall scurry up to campus to purchase my package of Adobe CS3, the Design Basic pack. $209. Not bad, for Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, etc, altogether. Just no Flash. Christ. Adobe.com wants about $250 for Flash ALONE.
Yesterday was an absolute nightmare of a day at work. The heat was suffocating. Today is going to be hotter, but we are supposed to get storms. Today, tomorrow, Wednesday. I am seeing no clouds outside my window. LET'S GO, MICHIGAN.
