Gramma Melton died at 10:30 this morning, in her sleep. Peacefully, thank God.

I'm okay. I'm just worried about Mom. She and Dad were on their way to Florida to see her--got on the road at 4am and everything. They'll be staying in Tennessee for the night, then driving back up. The funeral'll be up here. I really don't know if I want to go--I hate seeing Mom upset. It just...throws me off. Baby Kylee's funeral was a horrible experience for me; just goes to show how little I see my parents that distraught.

I started working on TAE pages yesterday night, suddenly. I coughed up the cover and first page of the second scene/chapter two this morning at work. I think I have a good idea where I'm going with it. Probably 24-30 pages of this scene, and then to the third...villainfest2k7.


Interesting happenings around that smug guy at the bottom. I wonder if his eyes give him away at all.


Chemin apparently can't do anything but FLOAT USELESSLY IN THE AIR when I draw him. Ramina doesn't seem to mind, but then again, she could be unconscious so we will never know.

Also applaud me. I actually spent time and designed the Gulu ship in TAE like any intelligent artist would do. IT PAYS TO PLAN AHEAD.

I'm sorry about your grandmother. I understand it can be rather surreal when relatives die, and you can often end up rather unaffected, save the pain of watching others grieve. I wish the best for you and your parents.

I really, really love that sketch. It's so very emotive. I hope that you'll finish it--and retain the purity of the expression portrayed here.

Man I don't know if I'll ever get around to finishing it. It's being inked at such a high ppi count that those long folds and junk are going to make me give up on life. XD So far, just their faces as you see them are done.
