Truth be told, I was only in there for like an hour, hour and a half, but it was long enough to make me walk over to the Rite-Aid next door and buy a shit Tom Clancy book. STILL, money was paid, and next month I will get my new driver's license. It will be horizontal, LIKE NORMAL LICENSES YAY.

I also paid off my first credit card bill with felt...lame. Since they won't let me pay it off online for some reason. Nghr.

Also when Dad came home and laid out on the couch, Belle climbed up all over him in a way that was so funny I can't really describe it. She was very silly.

Dude, I have so little sympathy. When I went to get my license changed, my number was in the teens and they were in the FORTIES when I arrived. As in, I had to wait for them to get all the way to 100 and then up to 18 or whatever it was. On the floor, because there were no empty chairs. It was AWESOME.

OH RENFAIRES. They are so fun.
The one here in Michigan is pretty boss. It goes on for like every weekend from Labor Day to the first week in October and it's HUGE and there's jousting and waffle fries and kilts and Robin Hood skits and BEER HORNS.

The only things that suck about it is how far away it is from where I live and HOW EXPENSIVE EVERYTHING IS but I guess cause it's all handmade...makes sense. BUT STILL.

I went to the DMV recently, and omg it has gotten SO MUCH FASTER here since I got my license (it's been about five years). Like, amazingly faster. I was impressed.

My dog's like that too. Loves the whole family (well, except my brother) when mom's not home. But the moment she walks in the door, it's like no one else is there. x)

Heh. The NERD ALERT was more for me for being such a huge doofus. If you lift you hat up, and look at the underside of it (where your head goes, can't recall if there's a name for that or not), they put a sticker or a stamp with their name on it. I say this because I have a hat just like it (but in hard leather) and have convinced my other friends that they need awesome Musketeer hats as well. We are as if to be a GANG. An EPIC NERD GANG.

I've found the key to getting out of the Secretary of State quickly is to get there before they actually open. You'll have to beat some old people to getting inside, but who can't outrun an old person? I think I got out of there in ten minutes at most when I had to renew my license last year.
