To the relief of everyone in the class, Mehall extended a deadline on our "joke/humor" assignment. And. Apparently...That, and the "open" final are all we have to do! Nobody has mentioned the required-filming-with-Video-Production-Club, and I hope nobody will, and I ALSO hope nobody else has done it, or else I'll be in a bit of a pickle. That's right, a pickle.
Which means that I don't have to worry about huge deadlines on huge projects I cannot do on borrowed time, WHICH IS GOOD. At least I don't feel the pressure to withdraw.
It also means I need to stop effin' slackin'.
Oh, speaking of slacking,
Something hacked up in spare time
I'm in the process of streamlining a good handful of my characters, just because I think they'd be better off more simplified. The less abstract they become, the more headaches I get, and they just don't convey anything after a while.
So Gossamire's gettin' skinnier and lankier and I'm giving him some claw feet, and maybe an extra set of joints on his hands. For all the crawling and climbing that he does. I figure giving him some more of the feline look will help balance the human portions, while still making him look like the freak he is.
YEAH, I MEAN YOU, FREAK! Don't give me that look.
His coloring isn't stable, either. The only thing that remains solid is his complexion, which will always be a desaturated gray. The hair n' the wings n' the eyes're always constantly shifting in value and luminosity, since he really thrives off of sunlight. It felt kind of cliché, but moonlight does neat things to him, too, since that's just sunlight reflected amirite. So it'd reflect more of the animal quality.
Gonna make his eyes dominate the face, too. He always looks scaaaaared, cause I'm mean to him. Blablabla.
I found Nestlé Crunch chocolate eggs in my Easterbasketpurse yesterday. GLEE. They're so yummy.
