Yeah bitches I will be so ready for Slayers Revolution in July. Got mah S1 tapes and these dvds and S3 on data disc somewhere...fff. Yes please. Please don't suck, Revolution.
Another day of work, and Nick and me making fun of Kingdom Hearts. Then two days of no Nick and icky ick ick humid heat. I CANNOT WAIT.

That Illusion of Life book is really kinda gearing me up to kind of...streamline and simplify some designs. As if I'd ever animate them right but. I think I like them cleaner, with less detail bogging them down and making them look like a Squeenix nightmare.
That simplified anatomy book started this too, but yeah. Chemin's been the first to see these changes. I always got hung up trying to give him fancy armor or a really refined face and blabla...but I don't think his character suits it anymore. I just want essentials:
•Big, expressive eyes that carry his emotions: he has difficulty talking, so his side of conversation generally reflects in the face.
•Conservative costume: even if his dad was a king, he doesn't go around advertising it. I shoulda thought of that before, but keeping him a little more bland really makes sense for him. He hates drawing attention to himself.
•Lanky, almost noodly body: He's still got room to grow up, but he won't fill out that armor much. I want him to look almost bendable, almost rubbery, but in a pleasing way. He shouldn't give off any leadership vibes at all. He is a wuss!
...Er, not that I had much to simplify on Iore--he was already pretty straightforward.
•Short short short. The bane of his existence. Being 24 and stuck as a 12-year old. Shorrrrtyyy.
•No visible ears. They're tiny, near behind the jaw, and look like reptile earholes.
•Kinda sorta gangly, partly for being kidsized, and partly for his awful diet. Thin wrists and hands that are kinda big for him...
Lmao this one is the worst
•Might pull the hair back a little more; him and Rivven must get their hair done at the same place because they look awful similar in the front whoops.
•Nose better darn well dominate the face. His eyes shouldn't be as big and gaping as Chemin's, but his face should be narrow in a similar fashion, but with a more adult look.
•OLD MAN OLLLLD.
•Man I don't know. He's changed a lot, too. Especially that outfit. I never know what to put him in. I dress him warmly, since I figure he'd probably get chilly faster than the younguns.
