Jul. 2nd, 2006 10:37 amTomorrow is the park's fireworks, but I am mercifully not posted at Willow. Just Oakwoods. Which means everyone will come to ME and think it's Willow, despite the massive sign that says "HI THIS IS OAKWOODS METROPARK; WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING WORTHWHILE TO DO IN HERE". :D
I'm not sure how many days off people have for this bloody holiday, but here's hoping I don't like. Die. The weather's been pretty merciful lately, and I'm hoping that's not a bad omen for unbearable humidity in the big rush of people. But who'm I kidding? WhenEVER there's a big event, the weather gets gross, and I die. And never can add up my cash at the end of the day. WJgtajoiiia.
Friday I was supposed to see Superman; then yesterday, but TODAY we have our tickets in advance. 11:20PM at the iMax thing. I hear that theatre kicks the ass, so why not? I'm going to ignore all critiques of the movie, because if I listen to too much posative feedback, I expect way more than I receive, always.
So instead of Superman, we (being Steve, Tim, Sam, Brit, and myself) ended up at Sam's guest house and watched the 40-Year Old Virgin. Which...really sucked. I don't know why they like it. Steve took me home before it was over, because I was like. Falling over everywhere half-asleep.
( Then there's this thing )
Coloring that fire knight guy is kind of invigorating; he looks better and better as I carry on. I hope the vibe can carry on to the end. Probably not, but SHHHSHHSH.
Iii need to finish sketching for Lady D so I can mail that thing out to her, yesss.
Once upon a time, I made coherent LJposts; one day I'll get into the swing of things.
