Mmmm, that new Superman movie was enjoyable. And I got to keep my super kickass (only not) 3D glassesssss. I'd love to blather on continuously about the film, but that might mean destroying the excitement for others. And that would be mean. But yes. I enjoyed how it seemed to focus more on a comic-like element than dumb ol' Hollywood-standard issue. It was very smart to cast Superman as an unknown; so no one has to bother comparing the actor and whatnot. Also, for the last time, to my parents, and to whoever else, he's not trying to be Christopher Reeve; he's trying to be Superman, and it's only understandable that it would seem similar, if only becaues Reeve was trying to be Superman, too. Why is that difficult to understand, seriously?

I feel very groggy, though; that movie didn't let out till like 2am or so. Didn't get to sleep till around 3. AND IT'S FIREWORKS TODAY YAY. The weather looks kind of dismal, so maybe that'll lessen the impact for everyone workin'. So we got Team Ninja at booth 8 and Team Pirate at booth 7 (I believe), and I'm afraid I'll be rooting for 7, even though it was an error to call themselves the Pirates. Pirates never beat ninjas. But still. Hopefully everyone out at Willow has a tolerable day; and I hope hope hope I can hear some of booth 7's mad tunes that they claim to be blaring when they're out there. Heh.

Oh yeah, I lent Tim $2 to make this weird little plastic model of Henry Ford, and I think he was a little too amused by it. He was making it fly, doing dumb stunts, and trying to get a firefly to land on its crotch so he could take a picture of it lit up. Is this cause to call a brain doctor or something?

Yay!

Finally managed to draw something )

Wow. Dad's watching Napoleon Dynamite of his own free will. Either he's really bored, or he's actually starting to like that movie.

Anywho, I made $32 whole dollars at work today! Hahaha. A whole lotta nothin', and it was wonderful. The weather wasn't snotty, either! And I managed to get my letter for Lady D in order, and that was good. And got to draw the previously viewed sketch up thar, too. Noice.

Willow park is like, exploding. There were cars parked everywhere there weren't trees, basically. I wonder if team Ninja or Pirate won. Lemme know when you get off, Tim; I must know! My money's still on team Pirate.

Lastly, the coolest thing to happen today is that I heard "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gerswhin on the classical music station on the radio today. It's ironic, since I saw the bit from Fantasia 2000 showcasing that score last night on YouTube. Weird. Eerie. Cool!

EDIT: FJIOEWGTJIOEW Haruhi ends at episode 14. WHAT. But..it was so good. Good end. Hurray Kyon and his "Ponytails turn me on" quote.
