look at it this way: your knees feel pretty good right now because the weather is nice, right? which means the stabbing will hurt less, right? and the weather is only going to get WORSE as spring arrives and it gets all rainy and humid and icky. so better to get them both done NOW when it won't hurt as much than to wait and have ouchy knees and extra stabbings that are extra ouchy.
