*never shuts up about superheroes
Oct. 3rd, 2009 05:21 pmI picked up Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and enjoyed it quite well. It wasn't awe-inspiringly awesome or anything, but it certainly was good, wild, hero-on-hero brawling with some giant robots mixed in for good measure. I was extremely delighted by Captain Marvel's presence (and his bad lines). The extras were great, too, though I am rather bummed the Blackest Night featurette shed no light on future events in the arc. :[ Boo. The next movie in the DCAU will be quite interesting, and even James Woods is lending his voice to it. Hurry, spring, hurryyyyyy.
The second disc has a couple episodes of Superman: TAS that feature Batman andJasonTim. I figure maybe if I get enough of these DCAU movies? I'll have enough of each animated series that I won't have to bother buying the dvd sets, hah! I'm assuming the Superman episode featuring Kyle Rayner's gotta be on the GL movie. 8)
As per Ian'ssuggestiondemands, I took a glance at Nova, volume four. Read through issue 11 thusfar. It's very fun! I find the main character and his talking helmet very entertaining, and the cameo/supporting cast makes it all the more worthwhile. Russian telepathic dogs and all. :] I do enjoy me some outer space shenanigans. Makes me want to give Adam Strange's solo a gander.
Rearranged my comic racks over my bed. Took Deadpool down because lol I have no desire to follow the series anymore. :'( Took Captain Britain down to open up a slot for Power Girl and Doom Patrol woohoo! And Blackest Night and all its non-GLC tie-ins get their own slot until I get them all. :V I'm so organized.
Garrett are you even reading Power Girl and if you're not what is wrong with you.
