Blackest Night: Titans #3: I cannot get over the fact that Terry looks creepier alive than he does as a hideous zombie lmao. But ohhh how I don't care about you Donna. Go turn into a Black Lantern thing I don't even care it's not like you've ever died properly anyway. Miss Conscious of Alternate Lives.
This issue is all about making Tara's treachery valid and Dove being fabulous. The fact that I've read a lot of issues where people seem to gloss over Tara's betrayal bugged me, but this seems to solidify the fact that she was messed up and not just manipulated by Slade. GOOD. KEEP IT THAT WAY. Now go fix Jericho.
And Dove...well. That moment of glowyness was really cool, Don and all. I wonder what they'll end up labelling this white light power before Hal goes and sucks up all the glory. It's not clear to me whether or not Etrigan's power has anything to do with this, because he's definitely not peaceful, but he bugged out the BL's readings, too. MYSTERIOUS MYSTERIES.
Green Lantern #47: I think I missed an issue here. Woops. I'll fix that later. So anyway blabla Abin Sur blabla guilt trip okay *pushes that aside* Good for you Hal, getting over your hangups. Maybe you don't suck as much as I like to think you do.

Saint Walker is still my new favorite thing in the DCU ever. :'| He can do no wrong by me, I swear. He's just so...pure. Which means that, no doubt, some shitty writer with a hardon for drama is going to corrupt him somehow and just ruin everything I love about him. BUT RIGHT NOW HE IS STILL THE FAVORITE.
Larfleeze is a close second. He's like Gollum mixed in with Scooby-Doo I just want to keep him in every adventure ever. MORE PLEASE>
Justice Society of America #32: King Chimera's really growing on me. It's a glorified bastard thing I just know it. That said, if All-American Kid can stop whining for ten minutes I might like him, too. Moving along poor Doctor Fate can't catch a break. Aw. Well, I like him, even if he's only been around for five seconds really. It's cool. Save Mister T(errific), yeah!! Cheat death during a giant death arc crossover, I'm sure it's fine!
Speaking of which, Dr. Polaris the second is leading the bounty charge against the JSA, but at the same time in Blackest Night #4, the Calculator says the old, zombified Dr. Polaris rips out the second one's heart or something. Lol continuity? These were both released in the same month, so I have. No idea how this all fits. JSA's gotta be backdated a bit, because they were battling zombies in BN#4 for a few pages. HhhHHHHHHH my brainnghjiofkds.
Magog needs to sit the fuck down or go scream at people in his solo. Just sayin'.
Power Girl #6: I'm glad this little story wrapped itself up in two issues, because I wasn't really feeling it. It didn't have the same momentum as the Ultra-Humanite monkeyguy floats Manhattan thing. And idk. Just didn't do anything for me. Carl was cute, though. He reminds me of a Munchkin. His puffy nose and boyish appearance or something yeah okay. Atlee is adorable and makes the rest of this issue delightful. I wish I knew the age difference so I had more perspective on their friendship though? But it's okay. I'm thinking she's like...16? 17? Something like that. Just keep her with Peegee and away from the Teen Titans for now, okay. Let's not send another beloved child to hell so soon. Sob, Jaime.
SAMMY I GOT THOSE POSTCARDS they are delicious BUT CAN I JUST SAY that the Jafar-flinging-sparkles-while-frolicking-gayly-across-the-page IS THE BEST THING IN THE HISTORY OF THINGS? Also "eyyy" Blue cracks me up this is all so beautiful *smushes face on.
