noelleno• Sue from Heaven4Toes pinged me for another round of jobs when she gets back from China!! Fingers crossed!
• Oh woops dad just broke the recliner thingie on the couch olol.
• Nieva leapt and tackled me in the face earlier. She is in the time out room. >:|
• Hoping the fee for the rhuematologist visit is waived because all we did was talk about EMU's campus and he poked my knees like. Once.
Picked up my pull list today uhuhu seven titles. LET'S MAKING COMICBABBLE.
Green Lantern Corps #44: Mogo. Is. A. BAMF. That was REALLY COOLaklfds. Coolest sentient planet ever. I really enjoyed the pace of this one--especially compared to the whole omg-Kyle-omg-RAGE thing from the last two issues. SHIT IS HEATING UP. Aaand cooling down a bit, now that Mogo's come in to lay the planetary smackdown on the BLs. This was probably my favorite GLC issue for the arc. :]
L-lol Guy's two page spread is absolutely terrifying. :( And I swear I've seen Salaak have a mouth like...once before, BUT WHERE THE HELL IS IT? LMFAO I DON'T EVEN...he gets a worm's eye panel and I STILL don't see a mouth. But whatevs the art is still wonderful.
Blackest Night: the Flash #2: YAY ROGUES YAAaaaoh God I don't know what's going on with this history of Rogues woops olol. But a Rainbow Raider without colors is a sad, sad thing. :[ Oop and here comes Owen to be dumb.
ON THE FLIPSIDE Barry's gone Blue Lantern and Walker's his floaty alien sensei as they go through the rounds of derailing familiar faces, friend and foe alike. And me, loving the art along the way. It gets a little messy with the speed lines, but I love the faces and bodies.
And that's about it. Barry, why are you boring to me. :(
The Power of Shazam! #48: Now starring ZOMBIE OSIRIS. I kind of slap him in the Superboy Prime category of whiny-well-meaning-kids-with-anger-issues-that-are-sometimes-endearing-but-always-annoying. His little heroic self-destruct move didn't really make me feel for him, so this was overall a blah. Ohhh well.
JSA All-Stars #1: Love-loving the art in this! Everybody's hair is so flowyyyyy. And FINALLY we may start to find out wtf is going on with people not messing with Stargirl. And...it's a bad guy I have no clue about, hooray! Oh, well. I'll be told what I need to know, no doubt. :] I love Wildcat and Chimera and EVERYBODY EXCEPT MAGOG REALLY I GUESS. I thought the bit with Peegee and Stargirl was cute, too. So I think I will have fun with this run. :>
Booster Gold #28: DELICIOUS COVER IS DELICIOUS. And...not really relating at all to the story inside, ha ha! But it's cool. Apparently Boosterchan will have none of this Brightest Day nonsense, and is wiping his hands free of zombie ted and goin' back to work. Michelle's back to being relevent or...something. I suppose. This was just a setup issue, really. I was more excited about--
Blue Beetle tie-in: DIS GON' BE GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD. >8] Scarab getting fixed and going all global conquest? Yes please. Idk how this'll play out with some of the tech Jaime's ALREADY destroyed during Endgame, but I think this will be a fun little story! I love this. I love the art. I love this Jaime, unaffected by the Teen Titans. :')
Power Girl #8: Oh gawww I ship Peej/Vartox. I LOVE THIS. :') The banter was fun, the baddies got taken out neatly, and there was an adorable psuedo-date in there!! I wish he could stay though why did you shut him down Peej. :(((( I love the pacing and the way the panels flow--It's a lot like the DeMatteis stuff in that sense. And I do enjoy.
Phantom Stranger #42: I...

My love of the Stranger just increased?? Because of a brief history glimpse?? Lolwhat?
BUT IT WAS RATHER INTENSE IDEK? Just that panel was enough to really give you a sense of just how unique and just...dang. Idk. I wish there was more. But he's kind of like Dr. Strange--so overpowered it's hard to give him a solo without having him effect the WHOLE world or something, and other titles can't ignore that shit. :\ So he stays minor. But I still love him wohhh.
So overall, this was a great week for my pulls! I AM CONTENT.
