Doom Patrol #9: In which I continue to repeat that I really like Negative Man. He levelled up! And...stuffed a brick down Rita's uniform. Nice. I enjoyed that little sequence. AND HEY THINGS MAKE SENSE kinda. I mean I bet if I reread this dinky little arc it'll make sense now that it's been wrapped up. The monsters that say BRONK still entertain, but the brick thing kind of won.
Also that...one guy. Uh. Not Antman it's a bug--AMBUSH BUG. Yeah. Ambush Bug's sliding in for ish 10. After Danny the street became a bungalow.
Yeah.
Nemesis #2: Okay so I definitely need to read FC Aftermath: Escape sometime because I think this'll make a great deal more sense. And I might also be sure as to whether Tom's the one right or if it's Bats and Wondie. But either way, hey. A mildly entertaining bit of fight banter and stuff not being as confusing as hale like the first one, so I'm good with this.
Great Ten #6: Ghost Fox killer backstory whee. More enjoyable than the current conflict in this run, because...idk. There were lots of words and my eyes kind of glazed over after a bit. But come on, those mob boss guys all looked alike I couldn't keep it straight. :[ Also it's kind of cool that she has her own little ghost army of ex-murderers/badguys doing her bidding, but lol at the whole Ghost Fox Women city. Idek. Seems silly.
Seven Deadly Brothers next! Lol unexpected.
Today I found a book with the scripts for the first six episodes of Space Pirate Captain Harlock in a $5 trade bin. Lmfao HOW DO YOU EVEN FIND THINGS LIKE THIS???? I was just thumbing mindlessly through shit and lo, I saw the scar and was like :O
It's nothing too amazingly special, but there are about seven or eight image splashes I can enjoy, and it was just five bucks so what the hale why not. Not like something like this'll drop in my lap every day, amirite?
There were also Lantern Corps pins. I got white, red, blue, and orange. I GOT YOU ONE DRE. Red. :]
Other than that uhhh math hurblur need to do good on this test or I'm doomed hurr new calculator drrr not moving forward in life at all hhh grumble mutter
also what's with all the zac efron today (not that i'm complaining)

Tohsaka throws herself into hellfire.
Nullifying the magic and using it as cover, she attacks Caster.
"-----?!"
Caster's surprise is that of a magus.
She could not have predicted that a magus, defeated in magic, would attack with bare hands.
I didn't expect it either, so it must be like heresy for Caster, who is an excellent magus.
"Gufu………!?"
A shattering sound.
Tohsaka's fist must be "strengthened" like Kuzuki's, as her attack easily penetrates Caster's defense.
I'm fascinated by her combination.
Tohsaka drops after the first attack.
Putting her hands on the floor, she sinks below Caster's knees.
To Caster, who lacks any experience in hand-to-hand combat, it must look like Tohsaka disappeared.
She executes a strong sweep.
She lashes out her foot with all her might as if to cut off Caster's legs!
"Kya!?"
Her feet swept from beneath her, Caster lands on her back.
But it doesn't end.
After the sweep, Tohsaka gets up with her back turned to Caster, uses the turning momentum to attack with her elbow, and--
"Take this…!"
Stopping her turning, Tohsaka punches with all her weight!
"Guh……!"
Caster's body is knocked away.
Taking the punch directly, Caster is smashed into the wall like me.
