Noodles. Somehow that's your fault. Idk how it all went down except Nemesis was about to drown when I woke up. WEIRD. EERIE. MOVING ON.
o5. Your definition of love
The force that compels one to act outside of themselves for the sake of themselves and others that are then valued like themselves. It's probably as chemical or scientific as some research would say, but I don't think it is solely rooted in a mundane source. Love is what ultimately made everything, and it's what we crave at the rawest level, no matter what it is that we claim makes us happy or satisfies our desires.
Love itself is not tactile or rooted in the rules we may set for it, but it can be a factor behind them. It can go very right or very wrong depending on how one reacts or doesn't. People have done stupid and wonderful things for its sake.
Humans like things in lists and categories, so there's a bunch of different kinds of love. Physical love, familial love, the love one can have for a stranger just met, the love of a friend be they close or distant...I think it all stems from the same source at different levels. We were made with love to love and are loved and will continue to be so whether we have a say or not.
I'm not sure if people grasp the magnitude of it when I say I love them, especially online where it's easy to toss around niceties or hate slurs without that face-to-face feeling that makes emotions seem more real? But I mean what I say and try to say what I mean. I have a lot of love for the people in my life, even the ones who don't have as much influence as, say, a close friend or family member. I can love the acquaintance and the stranger and the dissenter and the enemy. Love compels me to hope for the best in everyone, especially when I see or hear things are going sour for someone. Love makes me sick with worry, but I consider it fair when those I love are enduring worse and I can't do much else but love and pray. I don't just say it. I mean it. Please believe me and remember.
By no means am I a philosopher or a scientist or anything ~qualified~ to say what is or what isn't something, but I don't need a PhD to know something like this.

SPEAKING OF CHRONOS, i was just re-reading (...skimming) dc's first blue beetle run and i forgot he was in it. if you mean the first one.
