noellenoMm. Delicious disappointment. Quilla and Keyra ended up not showing up tonight. Oh well. I could have gone out elsewhere tonight, but I felt no motivation to do as such. I am awful tired, even if it is rather early to be so.
Work was alright, once I started drawing again. Instead of doing those stupid ugly turnarounds I fail so incredibly at, I think I'll settle for at least just drawing the characters full-body. I wrote up a list of names of the characters that I could remember I had designs for; it came up to around sixty or more. I didn't count. I make too many characters. Though I did draw up a decent outfit for little Tizu that isn't too gaudy.
Dad is really getting into the whole baseball thing now that the Tigers like. Don't suck. But now the Red Wings suck? Detroit seems to have this weird balance; one team may rock, but two more must suck ass to make up for it. The Pistons can be NBA champs, but that means the Lions still have to be lame. Then again, the Lions have been lame for a long, long, longlong time. At least as far as I remember family gatherings where Uncle Don and his sons would gossip about it with Dad. Honestly, I tried to follow a couple times, but it didn't work out. Oh well. Uh, go Detroit? :D If anything, make people stop stereotyping Detroit?
All this governor junk has been going on for weeks now, too. Granholm and DeVos. Beghhh. I don't really know what to think about it, or who I'd vote for, since both of them have their ups and downs. I just don't like hearing about their plans, because I doubt they'll pull through. If anything, Granholm'll just let Canada dump even more of their trash down the road from me. Won't THAT be fun. >:|
I've been doing the detatching-from-people thing again, and I gotta stop that, what with that whole...one-year anniversary thing Steve and I have coming up. I need to go out and purchase a gift of sorts for that. Must not purchase unneccessary things for myself this time; I doubly ensured it by depositing my entire paycheck today. $413. Yess. I think that brings my account to around $1,800. Which is always fabulous. I'll be sad to see it go when tuition fees roll around again.
