nuttin's plenty fo' me
Sep. 4th, 2006 10:49 amIt feels really nice to be back up at school. I guess I really just needed a change of pace from work, y'know?
Steve ended up driving me and my 8,000,000 things I forgot in his new car, and we found that it seems to be a very reliable vehicle. He also told me he's having the damnest time trying to get the 16th off. I hope he can; Ren Fest won't be as fun without him! But yeah, we missed the exit to the Lodge and kind of kept driving while he said, "Crap" every 10 seconds until lo and behold! A 75 exit to Warren. He likes that way better now. XD
Quilla wasn't here when we got here, and I had been calling her constantly so's to find out where she was. Apparently she was sleepin' at home after church. Pff. Oh well. I organized everything and got it all nice (SHOCKING, seriosuly) and tidied up, while Steve lounged about and teased my stuff. Naturally. Then Quilla and her dad came up and he left telling me "Uh...just say no to drugs." DX As if I took drugs! Ahaha.
Steve and I helped Quilla reorder her room, I stole her pillow, her hair tie, and her Colossus poster, and it felt good to be messin' with her again. We watched some Avatar and Ouran (which may have damaged Steve's brain) for a while by Quilla's request until we went to the lobby to find out wtf was up with the internet being down and I said bye to Steve.
Today I think we're all going to go to the Jazz Fest. I really really wanna see how it is! I love jazz. Keyra's gonna come visit up here, and Steve's gonna try and bring Tim and Sam and Britt, and I think that would be fabulous. Quilla's mom is also gonna come up with her PS2 and some other things. Cause you know. Quilla brings ALL HER DVDS AND GAMES but not the console itself. Ah well. At least we configured the living room into something manageable. I'll have to bring a camera and take some pictures of it next week so you can all see how tiny it all is.
Also TODAY was my first night of sleeping in a high, lofted bed. I WAS SO SCARED I WAS GONNA FALL but I didn't, and I managed to get out of bed safely. It's gonna be hard to get up early from it though. My alarm clock is below me. DX
So tomorrow, I have an 8am Psych lecture and life drawing. 8am lecture oh joy of joys. But I'm extremely pumped for life drawing; I had drawing still lifes, but I had a lot of fun drawing models when I sat in on a class of it over at the art college across the way. So wheeeeeee. :D
I think I'm gonna see if Quilla's awake. AND YELL AT HER FOR PUTTING THE THERMOSTAT ON AFRICA. I AM SWEATING ON THE KEYBOARD. XD
