LJ: Because I could be doing something productive (Obligatory art post)

Oh God why do I even go to psych lecture. I already read that shit. Still, it sort of clarified the whole synapsis cleft thing and..yaddayaddadon't care. And it did give me some time to doodle. And since I kindasorta like them, and my sketchbook for Lifedraw was handy, I scanned in some interesting little bits from thar, too.



Why the hell does my scanner scan things in sepia? I swear I didn't manip this at all. And it picks up all my nastiest pencilstrokes. Oh well. I thought I had a theme of women going, then I drew Seyfi, so I thought I had a theme of dark-haired people, and then I drew Mieren. Huh.


The only pose I think I could get Quilla to do adequately and for a long time is the "stare at computer screen" pose. XD I'm surprised it almost kinda looks like her in a scary kinda way.


I use cheap doodles to mask the fact that I suck at drawing hands. I did this at my cousin's weddnig shower. I wasn't bored or anything. DX


I will never bring myself to show off the first attempt I did of Steve's eyes/nose. It looked like a damn Squeenix face and DEPRESSED me heavily. So I tried again, and the eyes are much less gay. I don't think it resembles him though. :\


Lord almighty I looked at the seven assignments Frau Michaelis gave us and I swear to you we didn't learn that shit yet. But she says she's collecting at the end of the chapter, so that means Wednesday, so yay!

I also think I have the Ren Fest thing sorted out, HOORAY. No doubt it'll still be confusing as all get out the day of. I wish Leeann'm had said something about being able to go or not. D: Maybe my multiple messages didn't go through. God I don't know how the car arrangements are gonna go. But I am riding in Steve's car. So everyone else can just...deal. XD

God I wish I had more exciting things to say but I srsly don't. Boring college kid who wastes time on the internets. DX So let's do what such folk do and

The Quilla portrait is very impressive! Not that I know what she looks like at all, but it looks really realistic to me & I really like it.

I'm so sorry about Ren Fest, I guess it's one of the million little things I've been forgetting to do lately: ask you when it is. This weekend? I'm sorry I dropped the ball on it so completely, but I was in Russia and then I was being overwhelmed with school and I dropped the ball on a lot of other social-life stuff, too, if that makes you feel any better!
