Entrance-required Obligatory Art Post

noellenoSo, it's pretty much decided that I will not be at Wayne State after this semester. My parents and I have a keen eye over at Schoolcraft. They offer 2-year Associate Degree programs for animationand game design. And since I have a whole shitload of my basic stuff out of the way, I can sense I'll be getting my feet a lot wetter next semester in stuff I want to learn. Like Flash. And the best part is that it's only $100 a credit hour! I'll only need a $3,000 loan instead of a $6000 one!
It also means I'll be getting a new car. I don't know how we'll scrounge that up, but I DO need one, since Schoolcraft is up in Novi. Right offa 275, which I greatly appreciate. And if I can get my classes scheduled just so, I could also hold a job! Kind of a bummer, but mostly a yayful thing. Even more yayful, if gas keeps goin' down cent by cent. I'd like to be able to fill up on $15 again.
In any case, I'm gonna try to get an appointment with a counsellor over there for Friday. So I had to recompile a portfolio. That damn camera did NOT want to take photos AT ALL. But I got them to cooperate. Sorta. Some of the cropping got tricky, and lol at my glass study, for it came out WAY too light and I had to adjust all the levels.

'Nother Drawing II, glass and reflective surfaces. Pencil too light whee. D:
Drawing II again, my favorite from the class. Charcoalllll.

Samir, hahahaha. I made him look like a woman, BUT HE KEPT MOVING so.
Favorite piece from Design II, which is NOT saying much at all. All of these are painted, cut paper that is fastened together with transparent moutning tape and glue onto matte. Pain in the damn ass. PAIN IN THE ASS.
Two others I kinda like. Teacher kept getting on my case for not cutting evenly, well. BAH.
Only really decent thing I churned out recently that wasn't gift/fanart.

Almost obligatory.
Ahhhh I'm not even gonna apologize for that disgustingly large spamfest. If I look at them long enough, I may be able to convince myself it's not too shabby. A hella lot better than my first portfolio, a HELLA lot better. So.
Also Kisho!portrait is DONE. And I like it, so yay. Gotta get started on the reference sheets nowwww. After math test. Oh God. Which I shall fail despite it being just intermediate algebra.
But I did purchase some therapy: God of War.

2. The best thing about this one is the reflection on the table. I don't know why, but that strikes me as particularly awesome.

4. Oh man, this is one of my favorites. Who's going to win? D: The dragon looks particularly awesome here, and the background is very desolate, and... I want to know the story!

7. It looks like a very elaborately camoflauged origami bird. The color combinations work particularly well for this one.
