On the new

Now I get to make a new art signature. BD I wonder how many strokes it'll take me. I never had to pick up my pencil to do the old '06 signature, but I like crossing my 7's...Oh well! It'll be interesting.

I accept that Seyfi will never be awesome. But that won't stop me from scouring the internets for Turkish and Ottoman armor and attire and totally smash three centuries' worth of gear on him. Yataghans still proceed to be the coolest swords ever.

First in my new sketchbook. I cannot believe I can concoct such horrible posing consciously. That is AWFUL. But I was just trying to pretend I could make pretty armor designs. Clearly not so!

It was supposed to be floating, flying. Because I decided Chemin can do that now. Again, shitty armor design is shittyyyy, but I'm trying to make it pleasing.

Onea these days, I'm gonna not color so ickily. Perhaps even make the coloring, gasp, interesting.
I never dug on the resolution thing much, if only because I'm secretly an alzheimer's patient and I never remember wtf I resolved to do. But I think mine is going to involve more meditation and prayer. Especially,
for
fallenmoon's mom to recover,
for
skinnyvee TO STOP BEING SICK RIGHT NOW FOREVER OKAY,
for
severina's father's health to turn for the better,
for my cousin-in-law's baby to be born healthy and stay that way,
for Daddy's job to treat him nicer,
for Mom's new promotion to be super awesome,
for Katie to come home tonight unscathed,
for
ruffwriter,
fightfair,
ikuze and I to not fail next semester,
and for pretty much everyone's sanity.
I think it'll be a goood thing. Doesn't hurt anybody!
Anyhow, rang in another new year sober and...still weirder than most drunkards. Tim, Sam, Brittney, Gene, and myself scoured Eureka Road for a steakhouse that wasn't totally packed, and lucked out at Logan's Roadhouse. PEANUT SHELLS ALL OVER THE DAMN FLOOR, WHAT THE FUCK. I know the peanut is the gimmick there, but srsly. Steve couldn't join us, for he was being Target's workbitch.
But it was an amazingly delicious meal. Small bit of sirloin cooked to a bit of burn, the best macaroni and cheese I've had in a while, and some jfoeiwajfeo wonderful mashed potatoes. With bits of potato skin in 'em. I love that. Adds so much flavor! I haven't had such a great out-to-dinner meal in a while. And it was pretty cheap, too! Not bad, not bad.
Then we chilled at Tim's, playing Euchre and watching Little Miss Sunshine, which is an adoreable movie. Steve showed up, as did Phil and Amanda AND CHRISTINA HAY, and we watched Dick Clark work his way through another new year. Then we ran outside and blared Tim's car alarm, banged on a snare drum, and made lots of stupid noise for like twenty minutes. Got cold, went inside, and watched A Night at the Opera. Classy.
God and Christina wants to make me endure girly thingstomorrow today. Britt's gonna trim my hair so it's not so ratty at the ends, and Sam'll just be there to pin me down while Christina makes me endure shitty chick flicks or something horrid.
Steve and I agree: the kissy-kissing thing? Weird. Not as awesome as everyone hypes it up to be. But we're like..."I guess we get used to it?" Hahaha I am SO glad he feels the same way about it, otherwise I'd still feel awkward about dodging it.
I drove home at 1:30, FREAKING OUT at every sharp turn, cause I kept thinking some crazy drunkard was gonna suddenly slam into me. Hahaha that was fun.
Now I'm just kind of waiting for some sign of Katie. Her car wasn't home, so I guess she's out with galpals tonight. She may be 18, but I still worry when she goes out late. I mean, the bar idiots'll be roaming around anytime now, and I don't want her getting hurt because some dipshit's driving home buzzed on Budweiser.
...I wonder if that Merlot yellowtail's gonna be there tomorrow morning, and if Mom'll let me have half a glass. It has a nice aftertaste.

A) To the contrary, I do believe Seyfi is awesome, good miss.
B) I've never kissed anyone, so I know not of the awkward.

Date: 2007-01-01 06:12 pm (UTC)WHAT.HEY, it is the most I can do from 100 lightyears away yes.
A). NO, he is a LOSER. But he's gonna look awesome anyway.
B). It's silly. And probably a little senseless during winter, when EVERY disease ever can be transmitted by merely LOOKING at other people
SPARKLES, SPARKLES FOR EVERYONE!

You lie badly and horribly, because Seyfi is and will always be the EPITOME OF AWESOME in all regards of the word, so shut up. Also, Chemin's armor is nice, I think, even if you say otherwise. It's very "classic" looking.

Date: 2007-01-01 07:03 pm (UTC)I don't know if this "awesome" is such a good thing. Apparently, "awesome" correlates to being old and not having a girlfriend. That seems to be a trend with these "awesome" guys I have. Oh well. SUCKS TO BE THEM.
HAPPY NEW YEAR CUDDLE MUFFIN ILU
