I can't seem to breathe draw well. It is difficult to focus on a single image, even worse to follow through and color something. I've hit a layer number that I most definitely do not like, and I know it's going to take at least twelve layers to get this picture done. That always discourages me.
Sketching hasn't been so bad. But who cares about sketchesbesides me?

...By no means is this a slight ripoff of the Pan in scarlet. No sir.
I was gonna color it, but inking difficulties (what is UP with my computer making the lines blurry during a cap?) and laziness settled in. He was gonna have freckles.
Monday, Monday...I better not get lost. Technically, when I test-drove up to school, I didn't see the school, eh heh. It can't be that hard, surely.

I love the details - the feathers, the leaves at the waist, the torn leggings.

The design sheets I'm making will be much cooler.no subject

Date: 2007-01-13 01:50 am (UTC)Twelve layers? Wow. That's a low number for me. Usually my pictures reach at least thirty... I vaguely recall putting something like sixty layers into a piece, once.
Wow. I'd never think to test-drive somewhere...

Date: 2007-01-13 02:04 am (UTC)I HATE multiple layers. I get so tired of clicking through each one and jfiodafjdioasfhgweioadjsf DIE LAYERS. I am going to make myself work on like. Three forever or something.
Yesss, always make a test run up before you gotta go somewhere, juuust in case.
This did not stop me from going the wrong direction on the freeway to my first college class in high school. I AM AWESOME.
