The week has been borderline productive, leaning a bit too heavily on lazy, as my inability to close the paths I made for a graphic in my Illustrator poster has rather frustrated me. I cheated, instead, and will soldier on and trace over everything else later today/tomorrow/Sunday, hopefully. There is no room for whining; I was the idiot who decided to settle on the art nouveau style in the first place. Smarter folk picked bauhaus or art deco, so power to them.

The Paolo Nutini concert was also a mixed bag. Initially, we got lost, because I failed to comprehend that M-10 menas the Lodge, and the Lodge is entirely closed, so we had to hunt around for a way to Woodward, which came from a couple turnarounds on Warren. But we got there well enough, and around 8:30, which was okay.

Parking was a hassle, but we got a spot behind a bar near the theatre and hop, skipped, and jumped over to the entrance, where the bouncer said he couldn't fit us in--max capacity and whatnot. Which was a sad thing to hear. However, a bunch of folks left, and he let us come in.

Max capacity, indeed. That was the only thing that kind of blew, because smelly smoker/drinkers were crammed in. We got about midway down the aisle and just stopped because there was no possible way we would be able to breathe down near the stage with all dem folks. Positive side, we did get stopped just behind a couple of Scots, so Steve and Britt got to enjoy their accents to the max. And Tim just got pushed around a lot until I switched spots with him.

Paolo and the band sounded great, though. I really, really am glad, since we only went because a). it was free, and b). I had heard one of his songs and thought it groovy. But they were all pretty enjoyable, and some of them a bit discoey, haha. A song about rainbows, too, ha. It was funny, though; every time this guy went to do inbetween-songs talk, all we ever heard was "MUMMBLEMRRMBLE SONG MRMBLERFSD SONGS MFSDFDMS SONG"

And Steve and I did not fail to laugh at that. It was good.

After the concert's double-encore, we traversed out into the rapidly snowy and shitty roads and went to visit Quilla at the Towers for a few hours. My old room is now a haven for her manbitches to do their homework, and it is kind of sad. Quilla says she still finds my hair everywhere, which is not my fault but whatever.

The drive home was a nightmare, though. The salt trucks hadn't even started cleaning up the expressway. So it was 35-50 all the way home, and the semi trucks were ASSHOLES. One passed us in the left lane and spewed salt and snow grit onto our windshield. Oh God it was scary. Scary enough for Steve, too, who leapt of the next nearest exit and took back roads home.

SPEAKING OF STEVE. I am never ever sharing my character designs with him again ever. Because he kept yelling at me to make Helion Jamaican. NO. ):

Hurr, and I also found out Kinko's is not printer-savvy, and doesn't even own an inkjet on which to print on special glossy papers. Which means I can't exactly do my Photoshop project. And my professor hasn't exactly replied to my email in three days. Cheeseandrice.

Also, Peter Pan DVD is mine and I am a happier kid for it. It makes me regret not getting the other 2-discers that were out. Best Buy might still have a couple so... Jungle Book releases in October, and 101 Dalmations next March. I will probably get those, too.

Tonight, I dine in hell, as my "posse" and I go to the night showing of 300. As suspicious as I am of a horribly bland story, I cannot stay away from pretty design. Also, I am taking a notebook with me and tallying how many times that guy says "SPARTA", "SPARTANS", "SPARTAAAAAAAA" throughout the film. Just for kicks. Results will follow.

Alright, here's your tl;dr consolation prize,

IDDN'T HE CUTE.

... JAMAICAN HELION, HAHAHAHA. *dies*

*Snorts* Be sure to tell me how 300 is (not sure if I'm going yet, is not really most of my friends' thing even if I think it'd be good for a laugh).

That sucks about the Photoshop project, though. My printer is godly and probably could do something like that, but that doesn't really help, does it. D:

DENNY. ♥ *tackles*

A speech pattern including the word "mon" would decrease his chances of ever getting laid even lower than they already are. ):

I will let you know. I am sure it is highly pretentious. :D

I KNOW RIGHT. So whatever dings and ink spatters my dad's printer spits up is going to just have to happen.

DENIDD IS VERY DISTURBED BY ALL THIS HUMAN CONTACT.

Jamaican Helion...? That thought scares me, mon.

XDXD
Helion's chances of getting laid are slim, at the moment. Considering he's got a crazy pilot and a doctor that threatens castration. *snerks* We could always have Archer and Jaime do a cameo, along with Archer's twin sister and...uhm...your character who always acted high. XD

I'll post tomorrow. I'm tired and have a headache. *takes a stroll down memory lane.*

Haha Ana and Riguez? Oh God that'd be a strange thing. And wasn't it Mark and Archer? Or..Marc and something. I HAVE ALZHEIMERS.

I enjoy reading your exploits.

That... character is so... trippy to look at. The multiple eyes. The eyes! And that sketch to the upper left. His face is all, "meh," but that eye is all "HEY I'M WATCHIN' YOU."

And.

Wow, I'm not intelligent tonight.
