LOOK! OVER IN THAT RECLINER!

Things to note:

• bangflip is absolutely adoreable and I welcome you all to be extremely jealous when I tell you I got to hug her a lot today. Seriously fun, and I hope we get plenty of opportunities to hang out again.

• Monsters vs. Aliens was very entertaining and well-done. Beautiful textures, kudos to that team. Really cute story. I ship Susan/Cockroach. Insectasaurus is equal parts horrific and adoreable. Great facial work. Great cast. Man with "Captain 3D" as a legal middle name. Win.

• Hey so that trailer for the movie 9 is pretty intense and has Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home" as the background music. How the hell did such a grimdark trailer get batched in for a kid's movie. I want to see it.

• quil_el making a late-afternoon appearance doubled the victory that was already occurring. Put a copy of a Blue Beetle trade in her hands and she bought it. That, and Cable & Deadpool. Spreadin' the love.

• Captain Britain and MI:13 #12: The grand techincal reasoning behind Dracula having a massive stronghold in space? Wait for it. Get this: magic. OF COURSE! Why didn't I think of that. Blade is off to save his sexy white vampire piece of booty, mmhmm. I think I need to reread this because now there is some shit going down with a graffitti'd skull and Dracula's like "OH NO YOU DI'IN' BITCHES *SMASHES SKULL*" and apparently that's important so.

•Green Lantern Corps #6: Um can Guy ever stop being awesome? No. Sucking up sentient planetdirt with a ringvaccuum. Ayep. And Natu's hot little sidekick is kind of a bitch but what the hell was I expecting from a warlord princess really. Salaak apparently got laid. Isamot's lady totally boned someone else. Let the comforting begin. Next time, on Days of our Lanterns...

•Green Lantern Corps #7: Nick said R'amey looked ugly, but I beg to differ. Pretty butterfly lady is pretty. And probably expendible, sigh. And--ew. Oh. Wow. Ew that thing went in Guy's mouth and out his ear. That's pleasant. Man. But he is still the man. And now he is secret agent man to boot. I will never catch up in time for Darkest Night but you know what. It's okay. I'm enjoying this.

• Nick has a shiny new car, and it surely is shiny and smells like new car. No it will not be named Nessy.

• Watched many animus with Nick tonight. Basquash, Druaga, a bit of the Evolution-R end just to share my pain, some stuff I forget that probably didn't get watched which explains why I forgot.

Deadpool #7: Much better than 6. Bob. Darling Bob. Sure, Medina draws him like a juicer. But he's still Bob. The high-five-shot-in-the-hand sequence made me smile. And wow. Taco Bell gags sure do help bring back a tiny bit of the magic. But it was mostly Bob. Not that I...love Bob or anything.

Green Lantern Corps: Recharged #1: I picked this up because I realized: for as much as I adore Guy Gardner, I really, really don't have enough of him around to read. So, this was pretty well-stocked in the back issues, and wahey. It has Guy mooning Batman at the Watchtower. How beautiful is that? It's got some good art, too. I enjoy. I may have to pick up the others. c:

Coraline: Beautifully animated. Nice flow to the characters. The beginning felt awkward to me at first, but it immediately picked up and got better. And hey. Hey. Realdad's a Michigan State alum? Haha. Man. I loved the movement. It was fluid enough to make you forget it was stop-motion. I wonder if that was some kind of digital speed-up trick or something. Very fun. AND IN THREE-DEE.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold: The Eyes of Despero: AJIODKLGMSAK;FO;KOLGMDA,S. GUY GARDNER I LOVE YOU. And lol what a beautiful G'nort. Oh my. So cracktastic. Glorious. Glorious. This episode was so beautiful. This is like my favorite show on TV now okay.

Hulk vs. Wolverine: Lol? Why didn't they just call this "Wolverine: Oh, the Hulk's in Here Somewhere, Too: The Movie"? Green guy's name's only in the front because it's alphabetical, 'cause in this thing he's a backseater. Which isn't a terrible thing, since you know. I don't really give a shit about either character. Because I watched this for Deadpool. He was such a little delight! I don't understand the skinnyskinny girl-legs he's got going on, but he still had his moments. Childish at best, but that's what he does. "Hehhh. I shot him in the ass. With this!" And his girlsqueal when he loses his arm lol.

Idk if I'd buy this thing though. It's...pretty overall blah. :\ Though I am a lady who does enjoy watching Wolverine get punched into the air. That happened about three times, so that was good. And Deathstrike was a creeper. Orgasm face/noises when she's making with the stabbing lol. :(
