Things to note:

• bangflip is absolutely adoreable and I welcome you all to be extremely jealous when I tell you I got to hug her a lot today. Seriously fun, and I hope we get plenty of opportunities to hang out again.

• Monsters vs. Aliens was very entertaining and well-done. Beautiful textures, kudos to that team. Really cute story. I ship Susan/Cockroach. Insectasaurus is equal parts horrific and adoreable. Great facial work. Great cast. Man with "Captain 3D" as a legal middle name. Win.

• Hey so that trailer for the movie 9 is pretty intense and has Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home" as the background music. How the hell did such a grimdark trailer get batched in for a kid's movie. I want to see it.

• quil_el making a late-afternoon appearance doubled the victory that was already occurring. Put a copy of a Blue Beetle trade in her hands and she bought it. That, and Cable & Deadpool. Spreadin' the love.

• Captain Britain and MI:13 #12: The grand techincal reasoning behind Dracula having a massive stronghold in space? Wait for it. Get this: magic. OF COURSE! Why didn't I think of that. Blade is off to save his sexy white vampire piece of booty, mmhmm. I think I need to reread this because now there is some shit going down with a graffitti'd skull and Dracula's like "OH NO YOU DI'IN' BITCHES *SMASHES SKULL*" and apparently that's important so.

•Green Lantern Corps #6: Um can Guy ever stop being awesome? No. Sucking up sentient planetdirt with a ringvaccuum. Ayep. And Natu's hot little sidekick is kind of a bitch but what the hell was I expecting from a warlord princess really. Salaak apparently got laid. Isamot's lady totally boned someone else. Let the comforting begin. Next time, on Days of our Lanterns...

•Green Lantern Corps #7: Nick said R'amey looked ugly, but I beg to differ. Pretty butterfly lady is pretty. And probably expendible, sigh. And--ew. Oh. Wow. Ew that thing went in Guy's mouth and out his ear. That's pleasant. Man. But he is still the man. And now he is secret agent man to boot. I will never catch up in time for Darkest Night but you know what. It's okay. I'm enjoying this.

• Nick has a shiny new car, and it surely is shiny and smells like new car. No it will not be named Nessy.

• Watched many animus with Nick tonight. Basquash, Druaga, a bit of the Evolution-R end just to share my pain, some stuff I forget that probably didn't get watched which explains why I forgot.

• Lots of hugs. :)
